Delete your Jarivo account

01 Send a request in the app or by email

You can request account deletion without reinstalling or signing into Jarivo. Email hypcheckss26@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, with subject Jarivo account deletion. Say that you want your account and associated data deleted. Do not send passwords, verification codes or financial journals. If you cannot access that mailbox, contact us for proportionate identity verification.

When account services are enabled, open Settings → Account & sharing → Profile & sign-in → Request account deletion, type DELETE and confirm Request account deletion. An accepted request is not confirmation that deletion is complete. A shared-space owner may need to transfer ownership or resolve the space first; contact support if this blocks the request.

02 Verification and completion

We acknowledge requests, verify ownership as needed and confirm completion. Verified account-deletion requests are completed within 30 calendar days. A legal exception or another person’s shared records can require limited retention; we explain the affected information and reason.

Deletion removes the account and associated private cloud records and recovery material, and removes or disables account/session access, applicable membership and invitation access, key-envelope access and private push registrations. It does not promise immediate erasure of every provider backup, log or historical shared record.

03 Shared history and restricted evidence

Account deletion removes account-linked support conversations. Guest support uses a separate device-scoped identity; remove those conversations in Help & support → Support conversations or contact us. Erasing Personal does not remove support conversations. Offline conversation removal is queued until you retry online.

Authorized members can retain shared financial history, original recorder/time and former-member provenance while the shared space exists. Removing your account cannot erase copies already downloaded by others. Subscription expiry alone never schedules financial deletion.

Restricted pseudonymous purchase-ownership evidence and Apple subject, token and owner hashes can remain after credential erasure to prevent reassignment and preserve security or revocation evidence. These are not anonymous and currently have no fixed automatic expiry. Legal, security, provider archive and support-email records can follow separate retention; ask us which records remain and why.

Apple capture-operation metadata targets seven days. Revocation-only encrypted credentials target seven days; a provider revocation outage can delay the account-deletion operation by at most 24 hours before its fallback, rather than block it indefinitely. APNs registrations expire after 35 days without refresh; queued hints within 24 hours and stale delivery history targets seven days. Cleanup is bounded and requires active monitoring. 04 Remove local and external copies separately

Your separate Personal journal is not erased by account deletion. To erase it in the app, select Personal, then open Settings → Privacy & security → Erase Personal journal and review the confirmation. Keep a recoverable backup first if you need the records.

Erase account journal is different: erasure can synchronize to the cloud and other devices. It is not merely removing a local downloaded copy. Signing out preserves isolated local account storage and is not account deletion.

Offloading an iOS app retains its documents and data. Deleting the app is not a request to erase server records and does not remove independently stored backups or files. Remove copies in Files, iCloud Drive, email, device backups and other destinations separately; recipients control their own copies.

05 Apple access and subscriptions are separate

For Sign in with Apple, Jarivo requests revocation of its Apple authorization when deleting the account. If revocation cannot be confirmed or a credential is missing, remove Jarivo under Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings. Removing Apple access alone is not a Jarivo deletion request.

Deleting the app or account does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel App Store subscriptions in your Apple Account or Apple’s subscription settings. Use Google Play for a subscription purchased there. Refunds and cancellation follow the purchasing store and applicable rights.
