About these terms
These terms cover Jarivo for iPhone and iPad and its optional account and Together services, developed and operated by Muhammad Huzaifa Malik under Huzaifa Dev, as an individual operator in Italy. Contact hypcheckss26@gmail.com. The Android terms remain separate.
By choosing to use Jarivo, you agree to these terms to the extent they form a valid agreement under applicable law. If local law requires parental or guardian permission, obtain it before using the service. App Store availability and enabled connected features are shown in the app and its store listing.
A money journal, not a financial service
Personal is free and ad-free and works without an account. Jarivo helps organize the income, expenses, jars, plans and other records you enter. It does not hold, transfer, invest or lend money, connect automatically to your bank, or make payments for you.
Jar contributions reserve money within the journal. Paying or skipping a reminder changes your records according to the confirmation shown; it does not send money or instruct a bank. Gauges, totals, forecasts and accomplishments depend on your entries and are not verified bank balances or financial, investment, tax, medical or legal advice.
Review receipt recognition, statement imports, calculations and destinations before saving or relying on them. Receipt recognition uses Apple Vision on the device. Recognition can be wrong; manual entry remains available.
Responsible use and your records
Use Jarivo lawfully and only with records you are entitled to process. Do not access another person’s account without permission, share credentials to bypass plan limits, interfere with the service, introduce malicious content or infringe others’ rights.
Your records and files remain yours. Using Jarivo does not give the operator ownership of them or permission to publish them. The iOS Privacy Policy describes processing needed for the features you request. App Lock and hiding amounts do not replace device security; hiding amounts does not redact exported files.
Backups, exports and recovery
Keep a usable independent backup before replacing a device, erasing a journal, deleting the app or making other irreversible changes. Portable backups are encrypted using your chosen recovery password. Account sign-in cannot reset that independent password.
On iOS, restoring a validated backup replaces the selected destination journal after confirmation; it does not automatically merge all records. Check the destination carefully. Restoring into an account journal can later synchronize those changes. Unsynchronized or never-uploaded records cannot be reconstructed by signing in on another device.
PDF, Excel and CSV reports are readable external copies. You choose their destination and recipients. Files, iCloud Drive, email and other providers control their copies and availability. Account deletion does not erase those copies or cancel their provider services.
Accounts and Together
Optional account services require a configured service, authentication and a connection for synchronization. Personal, private account journals and shared spaces remain separate. Signing in does not automatically upload Personal or make it shared.
The service permits one active connected session per account. A new sign-in can replace the previous device’s connected access; an offline device notices on reconnection. This does not remotely erase its records. Each invited person uses their own account and permissions.
When offered, Together Duo supports two people including the subscriber; Family supports up to six unique people including the subscriber, within the spaces and limits shown for the plan. One subscriber can fund eligible invited access. Invitations, membership, roles and secure key delivery govern access; an invitation claim alone does not authorize reading a shared book.
Shared plans, contributions and reimbursements are records and organizational tools, not transfers or a substitute for consent. Invite only appropriate recipients. Removing access cannot erase downloaded copies. History, original recorder information and former-member attribution may remain available to authorized members while the shared space exists.
Account and sharing recovery uses restricted server-managed key protection. Sufficiently privileged service infrastructure can recover protected keys and decrypt data; this is not an assurance that only you can decrypt it. See the iOS Privacy Policy before enabling connected services.
Optional subscriptions and cancellation
Apple billing is available only when a plan is offered and the connected purchase-verification service is enabled. Apple’s purchase sheet shows the actual localized price, billing period, renewal terms and any eligible offer before you confirm. No price is promised by this page.
An available monthly subscription renews automatically unless cancelled through the store under its terms. Manage App Store subscriptions in your Apple Account or Apple’s subscription settings. If you purchased through Google Play on Android, use Google Play. Deleting Jarivo, signing out or deleting an account does not cancel a subscription.
Restoring a purchase requires an eligible store transaction, the correct account and server verification; a local product or receipt alone does not grant access. Access can change because of expiry, refund, revocation, membership, plan limits or security checks. Do not purchase a second subscription to replace a plan still managed by another store. Cancellation and refunds follow the purchasing store and mandatory consumer rights.
Subscription expiry does not automatically delete financial history. Continued access remains subject to membership and security restrictions. Minimum restricted purchase-ownership evidence can remain after account deletion to prevent reassignment.
Apple and other providers
Apple supplies the iOS platform and the optional sign-in, App Store and push services you choose. Supabase supplies configured authentication, storage, synchronization, recovery and server verification. Email providers deliver authentication messages; Gmail hosts the public support mailbox. Cloudflare hosts the website. File destinations and Ko-fi are separate services.
Their applicable terms and privacy policies govern their services. Jarivo cannot guarantee their availability or compatibility. Choosing an optional permission or service does not authorize access to another person’s data. The iOS app does not automatically use Android’s ML Kit, Drive integration or Firebase notification client.
Stopping use and deleting data
You can stop using Jarivo at any time. Account-deletion instructions explain the in-app request and email route. We complete verified requests within 30 calendar days, subject to applicable legal retention and the explanation of any retained records.
Account deletion, erasing a journal, cancelling a subscription and deleting external copies are separate actions. Erasing an account journal can synchronize to the cloud and other devices; it is not merely deleting a local cache. Your separate Personal journal is not automatically erased by account deletion.
Software and feedback
Apple’s Standard License Agreement applies to the App Store app license. These service terms complement that license and describe Jarivo’s optional services; they do not replace mandatory consumer rights.
The app, name, artwork and website are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Permission to use the app does not transfer ownership. Applicable App Store license terms and separately licensed components continue to apply; third-party licenses govern their components.
We may use voluntarily supplied suggestions to improve Jarivo. This does not authorize publication of your private correspondence or financial information. Do not send passwords, verification codes or material you are not entitled to share.
Availability and your rights
Jarivo is provided in its available form. Reasonable care is taken, but continuous service, error-free calculations, compatibility with every device, successful synchronization and recovery from every failure are not guaranteed. Preserve copies of records that matter to you.
Responsibility for inaccurate entries, lost recovery passwords, compromised devices, external service failures and files you disclose remains subject to applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, liability, privacy right or consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded. These terms impose no mandatory arbitration or waiver of legal remedies.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be published with an effective date and appropriate notice; any acceptance required by law will be obtained. Updating terms alone does not authorize a new charge or unrelated processing. Applicable mandatory protections in your place of residence remain intact. These terms do not impose a particular country’s courts or waive mandatory local rights.
